Investment Banking Division
Developing the next generation of Wall Street leaders through hands-on deal experience
The Investment Banking Division exists with one clear purpose: to mentor and develop the next generation of finance professionals. Built specifically for first-year students, this division provides a structured yet highly personalized experience designed to cultivate the technical, strategic, and professional skills required for a successful career in investment banking.
At the heart of our division is a deep commitment to mentorship. Every incoming analyst is paired with dedicated upperclassmen who serve as mentors, coaches, and advocates. Our support is constant—available seven days a week, whenever you need guidance, feedback, or simply someone to talk through your approach. Whether you're working through a financial model, preparing for a technical interview, or navigating the recruiting process, you'll never be doing it alone. Our members frequently hold mock interviews, review resumes and cover letters, and offer detailed advice rooted in real recruiting experience and personal anecdotes from time spent in the industry.
Through this division, you'll gain hands-on exposure to core technical topics including three-statement modeling, DCF valuation, public comps, precedent transactions, and merger and LBO analysis. You won't just study these concepts—you'll apply them in real case simulations that replicate the workflow of a first-year analyst at a top-tier investment bank. From building dynamic financial models to drafting pitch materials and presenting strategic recommendations, our program ensures that you are developing tangible skills with immediate relevance.
What sets our division apart is the culture of accountability, humility, and continuous improvement. We focus not only on technical excellence, but also on communication, presence, and judgment—the intangible qualities that define great bankers. Our goal is not simply to prepare students for interviews, but to equip them with the mindset, work ethic, and professionalism to thrive in high-stakes environments.
If you're intellectually curious, driven to grow, and eager to learn from those who've recently gone through the process, this is where you begin building the foundation for a long-term career in finance. We're not here to push you forward—we're here to walk with you, every step of the way.
